Animated Stickers for Telegram

The Telegram Beta group occasionally posts feature announcements/screenshots. Earlier they posted this:

In addition, searching Telegram for “animated stickers” brought up a new animated stickers channel with this example:

Although they don’t have sound like winks do, this seems really neat and unique, especially assuming you’ll be able to make your own.

This feature has been in the Android beta version for a while now, and now it’s in the desktop beta:

The individual stickers are json, exported in After Effects using Bodymovin and then run through the Lottie library (example files).
