Ok, no joke I have all windows longhorn sounds here I have a link : Longhorn Sounds.rar (4.9 MB) so bye !
Someone deleted my reply, these sounds are fake and Longhorn uses XP sounds.
what happend ?
I do wonder how these sounds came to be attributed to Longhorn, who actually created them and what the whole story behind them is. I’ve searched before and there’s multiple answers but none seemed correct when I dug into them.
Perhaps @Megadeth58 knows.
they were actually first used on a custom windows xp/ windows 2000 soundpack and a bunch of xp longhorn customization packs started using them (most notably longhorn brico pack or vista brico pack whatever it’s called)
as these customization packs became popular the sounds became attributed to longhorn but they really aren’t
Well it looks like Xp sounds not really longhorn …
Fun fact: Longhorn used Windows XP sounds, the sounds you provided are fake, and plus, those sounds are actually used in Sigma OS 3.0
actually useful bump, shocking from me
All of ya’s are wrong
The sounds actually have their origin from a Samsung sound scheme
“Why wait for the fat lady to sing when Samsung!”
I remember this I missed it thanks now windows 11 sounds cool
Who cares about its origins it was better and popular.
Now I just need a better monitor because “its only a Sony”
