20 years in gaming: a history

Hi everyone,
Yet again, it’s been ages since I’ve posted on here! I should really come on here more often! :smiley:
Last week, I wrote an article on my blog detailing my 20 year life as a gamer without any eyesight. From my early days as a PC gamer, to the many consoles I’ve used through the years, the different types of video games I’ve played, and my general experience with video games, and the community around them, as a whole.

cant believe gaming existed since 2002

So you’ve never heard of the Playstation 1? Or the Nintendo NES/SNES? Or the Gameboy? Or the Atari 5200/2600? Gaming has basically existed since the arcade boom of the late 70s to mid 80s. See Space Invaders (1978).

I can personally vouch that he has, it’s usually a requirement for when talking to me :stuck_out_tongue:
But sometimes it’s hard to grasp in text, especially through a screen reader.

Also, I recommend Seedy’s post, I really enjoyed it.
