Lately, when I open MSN 7.5 it starts to repair for no reason. Even allowing it to repair, after the machine is restarted, it again wants to repair. I already reinstalled it by the normal way and via Revo Uninstaller and using Zap Messenger, but the problem continues.
7.5 is more likely to have problems than the earlier ones. downgrading to 7.0 would be the best option in my opinion.

I recall this being a problem with the Windows installer shortcuts in certain circumstances.
If memory serves me correctly, the easiest way to workaround the problem is making a new shortcut to the msnmsgr.exe yourself. So, right-click on the desktop, New option, Shortcut, Select the location of Messenger (ie. C:\Program Files\MSN Messenger\msnmsgr.exe or C:\Program Files (x86)\MSN Mesesnger\msnmsgr.exe), click Next, click Finish, then move the shortcut to your start menu, or the taskbar, or where you prefer.
Might want to delete the original shortcut for sanity
