my orignal security software for windows 10 was Norton then i changed to windows defender because norton was way too slow, then i went from windows defender to 360 total security because windows defender did not detect all bad things on my computer, And on windows xp everytime i tried to install norton i got and error so i decided to use 360 total security

avast took way like way to long to install

I have installed several antivirus (I do not stabilize in one, always change) and Avast is one of the fastest to install, only lose for Panda.

well i was using windows xp with a weak connection

The system does not matter, but my internet sucks (100kb / s)

yes it took like 30 minutes to install

zonealarm took 1 to 2 hours to install

zonealarm is another antivirus

Yep.

also 360 to you might be adware but it has ransomware protection

not even sure if the ransomware attacks are still happening

what leaves the “good” 360 is the engine of Bitdefender and Avira. In fact, the 360 has already been accused several times of including backdoors in their antivirus and cheating in independent tests (Av-tests, Av-comparatives, VirusBulletin nor test them anymore).

i am not using the latest version of 360 total security

when i installed windows xp on may 28th i used the version of the secuity program from may

i have been protected for 135 days today is day 135

If I were you, I would use the most current version. Why do not you use her?

her?

Her = most updated version of 360, sorry for my bad english

i dont want to go through all the trouble of installing it and reinstalling it this version is simple the newer is more complex

you can also change your protection mode

thats ok

But does 360 Total Security have no option to update by itself?
