FakeSkype is functional, but a few modifications to the source code are currently required to get it working. These include integrating the Skype RC4 engine from SkypeOpenSource and updating the IP addresses.
We also plan to release the source code for the modified FakeSkype client once the server is available to the public.
Sorry for the lack of updates recently. I’ve been busy with life, and progress has been slow. I’m now reaching one of the most time-consuming parts of the project, which involves reverse engineering more of the Skype client to understand how relays(for calling and messaging) and the FE (Frontend) layer responses work. These responses are responsible for features such as login, the secure gateway, and HTTP-over-Skype and they’ll require a significant amount of time and effort to fully understand and implement.
