Let’s take Bob as an example.

Bob is a user of Skype Community services. He might even be a friend of yours. He also happens to use CrossTalk services. While chatting via CrossTalk, he shares some personal information with a family member, maybe a photocopy of his credit card information or his Social Security card. You find this exploit and you don’t attempt to patch it via a commit or report it to the development team. Maybe you even tell others about the exploit and how to abuse it to show how evil CrossTalk is and how bad their security is. Bob’s SSN is now in the hands of malicious actors.
