Right now, you’re stuck with a hex editor to modify the binaries with (or asking a friend who can do that for you).
But I do have plans to develop an updated version of @enhanox’s Escargot Autopatcher, so that might ease things for you. 
But who made, prepatched later msn versions?
nvm. i got it to work. i used the original escargot autopatcher and than set compatibility mode to windows 98 /me and than did the edit in regedit

Escargot’s HTTPS servers don’t support SSLv2, which is what Messenger:Mac expects when it tries to authenticate with servers. So support for Messenger:Mac will come when we find a way to get SSLv2 set up on the server-side.

that would be great but we also need to figure out how the Mac version works before we can patch it and program servers to accept it.
