Telephone lines alive in cities?

Hello internet

Who live in cities with <100,000 population i have a question to you. You have telephone lines? because nobody use a phone, connected by physic wire and nobody use dial up/DSL. Share with your situation about it.

aint sure

I use DSL, but I do not have any phone lines (not sure if DSL counts as a phone line), because we use cell and smart phones. And some more urban areas where there are apartment blocks there is fibre.

My city still uses telephone, both wifi, dial up and phones use the same kind of telephone cable, so the signal is shit. (Phone reception is shit too, because i live a while away from the closest phone tower)

Well, in the case of where i live, it remains the same, nothing changed in the past years. Most people here did already got rid of it, due to its price not being affordable like a cellphone plan. We still keep it, cause many people do still call us though it, and that we have it for a good price. I don’t know it, since i never bothered to ask my parents for it.
