A few months ago, I updated mine from before in an attempt to make it more compact. Unfortunately you can’t go smaller than three rows, so that meant switching from a more horizontal Start to a vertical one again to maximize the space.

Also, I find for myself that if I’m going to click something on Start (as opposed to searching), I tend to not use the Windows key but instead click on the Start button. With that in mind, the organization method is the most used tiles go around the point of the Start button, to simplify mouse travel, and then the more informational tiles go around the edge.
