just because an os was made post-2007 doesn’t make it bad
windows 7 is good, windows 8.1 is good, and windows 10 is decent
i used Vista SP2 and 7 SP1, there’s literally no difference in speed and both were equally stable
like nojus said, 7 is just vista beloved edition, because unlike vista, it released on a time that PCs were more powerful
