Well. I have similar optinion about HP, My previous HP Elitebook laptop always dropped an error message which was HP specific and I had no idea what is this exactly or how can I hide or fix that error message (showed at boot screen). I’ve contacted the HP support, and after 3 hours of waiting I got back they can’t help me because I am not from US 
In Hungary there is no local HP support. They say don’t worry, they will help me. Haha, no. I am using a Mac now, but when I have to buy a Windows laptop, I always check the support quality of that manufacturer.

my HP24fw monitor working perfect, without any problems, even if it got released in 2018
HP used to be a good company their laptops were good but now it seems like they fell downhill
