Here’s a version of msgres.dll with the still ad included: msgsres_escargot.dll (2.4 MB)
Replace with the original msgres.dll in C:\Program Files(Program Files x86 if your system is 64 bit)\Windows Live\Messenger.
Make sure to remove the “_escargot” from the replacement file before replacing.

msgsres_8.1_ems.dll (2.3 MB) msgsres_8.5_ems.dll (2.4 MB)
Replace with the original files at Program Files (x86)\MSN Messenger for 7.5-8.1 and Program Files (x86)\Windows Live\Messenger for 8.5. Remove “_ems” from the filename before replacing.
