I’m running Windows Server 2008 R2 because that was the only VM that was reasonably clean and it’s honestly a headache on 10
connecting WM6 to the internet requires WMDC and the WM6 SDK, which means you need to install VS 2005 pro SP1, and VS 2005 pro is balls hard to find on the internet so it’s a pain to try to get it working.
granted, The Eye hosts the image for VS 2005 pro but since they capped their download to 1MB it’s gonna take you an hour or two.
