If Yahoo is mad about Y!M private servers, there’s a lot of collateral that I fear mentioning here.
If it’s AIM, how come it’s only NOW?
They’re even claiming QuantumLink and even ICQ (which they don’t even own anymore) so they’re trying to kill as much as they can it seems, even Retro AIM Server changed their logo, but since Yahoo still claims they own the “AIM” trademark, it could be bad long term for RAS as well.

this is starting to remind me of finobe’s shutdown, in which roblox supposedly sent a dmca to finobe’s owner, raymonf. but it’s been long rumoured that the dmca might have been fake, and later dmcas targetting simillar projects have occured which have all since been debunked.
and it’s weird that yahoo would be only going after nina, and not other projects, like phoenix, which was previously mentioned in mainstream news sources many years back (AOL's instant messenger is back: Meet AIM Phoenix).
