Problem description:

MSN 8.5 crashes everytime i try open a chat window
Error code/error message:

Just the usual Windows Live Messenger has stopped working

What has been tried so far:

Nothing, but it seems to work fine with some contacts though…

Messenger version:

8.5

Windows version:

Windows 7 Professional

@Matheus_Amaral did you try running messenger 8.5 in compatibility mode? this is most often the case for older software on newer systems.
