If you still see the error, you may have to enable TLS 1.1 or TLS 1.2 so It’s will work if you keep IE8.

that was 2018, now i have windows 8.1 with IE 11

Download News Flow if you are on Windows 10 then add the RSS feed. Windows Live Mail supports RSS feeds as well.
