I cannot login

im using version 5.0 on windows xp but when i try to login it says incorrect password even tho im writing in the correct password
help

And, ah, I see. the usual Windows XP won't let me connect on MSN problem. :stuck_out_tongue:

First, make sure you have IE8 installed.

Second, go on its Internet Options, select the “Advanced” tab, and scroll down until you see several SSL and TLS-related checkboxes:

  • Uncheck “Use SSL 2.0”
  • Check “Use SSL 3.0”
  • Also check “Use TLS 1.0”

Then restart MSN Messenger from the system tray and see if all is well. :stuck_out_tongue:

ok installing updates that will add ie8
