for whatever reason, escargot says that i have a “newer version of msn installed”. i actually DID find msn in my start menu, but the problem is that it wasnt actually installed - i searched in the uninstall programs window, and nothing. has anyone else also experienced this? is there any way to fix it (other than starting a brand new computer)? or is escargot basically lost forever in my pc?
Try searching your Messenger folders. In the C:\Program Files and C:\Program Files (x86) directories you can have folders named “MSN Messenger” and “Windows Live Messenger”. Delete them.
