I think that´s not possible, just on MSN 2009 if I´m not mistaken.
This feature is available in all Windows Live Messenger versions actually. To turn it on, open any Messenger window, press the Alt key on the keyboard, choose Herramientas (Tools in English), Opciones… (Options…), choose the Mensajes (Messages) category, select Agrupar los mensajes secuenciales de cada contacto juntos (Group sequential messages from each contact together) and choose Aceptar (OK).
You’ll need to close any open conversation windows and re-open them to see the change.
