Escargot doesn’t support Hotmail inboxes, and considering very soon Escargot is going to generalize accounts and frontends, it won’t. You can set up Windows Live Mail with your Escargot account and it will integrate with Messenger, though, which I think is good enough of a substitute. I cover instructions here:
