Problem description: once downloaded I get an error message saying messenger (any version) is unable to be installed because a newer version of messenger is already present on the computer.
Error code/error message: “A newer version of messenger is already located on your PC, if you want to installer an older version of messenger, first delete the newer version Settings>Control Panel and then re-run this installation process and try again”
What has been tried so far: I have delete the newer version of WLM on my computer
Messenger version: 5.0 and upwards
Windows version: 7
