Error code 80048820 when logging on windows XP

Problem description: error code when logging on my windows xp machine

Error code/error message: 80048820

What has been tried so far: disable ssl 2 and 3 update root certificate

Messenger version:7.5

Windows version:XP

Here it stopped working giving the same error code. I have the same problem for a few months on Windows XP and MSN 7.5. It always worked fine despite having 2 or 3 attempts to log in.

Afaik, you need TLS 1.2 or the ProxHTTPS thing to work. TLS 1.2 requires a specific POSready 2009 update + registry tweak. I currently do not have any of these files, but you should be able to easily find the information on google.
