Any plans for an MSNTV-replacement server?

#21

You ever looked at mattman and hacktv https://m.youtube.com/channel/UCamj0uP94ek0aHV9Ho240pA

#22

you finally posted the link to mattman, however, i’ve seen less MSNTV and more other stuff

#23

Just click videos go for oldest by date then scroll down

#24

last time he posted HackTV was a little over 3 YEARS ago.
i don’t think that helps.

#25

Fine ill post another link http://turdinc.kicks-ass.net/Msntv/index.html

#26

still same problem with the last updated 3 years ago.

#27

theres surely enought files on this website that can recreate this somehow http://turdinc.kicks-ass.net/Msntv/msnImages.html http://turdinc.kicks-ass.net/Msntv/source.html

#29

I’d totally buy an MSNTV Unit just for this.

#31

Same. Anyways, any updates?

#32

this has gotten a whole zero updates, mainly because it’s somewhat unviable

#33

Le bump because i don’t know, MSNTV might never be revived because. I have no idea and it looks too complex.

#35

what about if we just change our DNS entries to fool MSNTV its connecting to original servers

#36

The original servers have probably been dead for years.

#37

like 2000 years

#38

They actually ended the service in 2013 I think.

#39

whoopsy I meant to change DNS entries to fool MSN TV it is connecting to replacment servers (which need to be created)

#40

well it would be dope if replacement servers could be created

#41

idea : use raspberry pi or arduino or something to make a new device then make your own server :stuck_out_tongue:
