Have any of you heard about this MSNP13 Downgrader? It was used for users who did not participate in the Beta program to test MSN 8.0 Beta. It was a proxy that allowed MSN 8 Beta to use MSNP12.

Hi Valtron, it worked for me, msn 7.5 and 7.0, so happy!! But do you know if the problem of the other not seeing your animated emoticons will be solved? I use msn mainly because of these animated/custumized emoticons because no other messenger offers something similar. thanks!

@Winute @ngr6 @Marcus_Salomao Custom emoticons/file transfers/bunch of other stuff is broken for some reason with 7.5, not sure why. In the meantime, to use these features, try MSN 7.0, they should work there. (Also, with that version you can log in normally without putting your password in the email.)
@olga @Sephiroth Your regular contacts will not show up here, unfortunately. This server is completely separate from Microsoft and the real MSN/WLM.

Could this file help you with the login problem on MSNP < 5? Itās a Python client library for MSNP2.pyMSN.zip (3.1 KB)
From what I read, it was dealing with the MD5 login.

@tristanleboss MD5 auth canāt be implemented without storing either the password or MD5 hashes on the server for all users, which would be insecure. The only way to fix the login problem for < 5 is to somehow get MSN to send the password instead of its hash, and I donāt know how to do that. For MSN 7.5 itās a different problem entirely, and might get fixed eventually.

Hi Valtron, thanks for answering.
Just to inform you that the costum emoticons are not working on the 7.0 version either, there is the option on both msn 7.0 and 7.5 to āuploadā them into the messenger, it appears when you type the code but when we send to the other person it does not show up, it stays blank.

I would like to make my own observations.
1: @Marcus_Salomao Custom emoticons and userās avatars can actually be seen in 7.0.

2: @Jayeff_Wayne Just like @Tasos_anas told you, Plus works fine! I use MSN Plus 3.63.148. I found it here:

3: @tristanleboss I successfully installed the Spanish version of 7.0 and then I replaced msnmsgr.exe with the file from the patched version (https://storage.googleapis.com/escargot-storage-1/public/msn-7.0.0820-patched.zip) (I searched on Google to find the Spanish setup)
