How to remove MSN default emoticons ( Step by Step guide )

msgsres.dll (5.3 MB)

Tested on version 2012 (Build 16.4.3528.331)

STEPS:

  1. Make sure msn messenger is not running
  2. Go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Windows Live\Messenger and delete msgsres.dll
  3. Replace with the one provided here
    Success! Default msn emoticons are now gone :slight_smile:
